May Newsletter

Dear Hive Community,

Can you believe it’s May already, and summer is right around the corner??!!

With that in mind we have all kinds of great things lined up for you over the coming months! First and foremost you should come to Italy with us July 14th-20th. It is going to be the trip of a lifetime. Everyone is welcome and you don’t need to have a regular yoga practice to join us. Aside from amazing accommodations, fantastic food, and good company we also have two wonderful excursions planned to visit the surrounding area and to see magical flowers in bloom. Early bird pricing is in place till May 19th and we have a travel agent, Amy Flores, at your disposal to help you make all the arrangements at no additional cost to you. So what are you waiting for? Find out first hand what the Dolce Vita is all about.

We also have loads of fun events at the studio and in the community during the month of May.

Participate in the ‘Hello to Spring” festival at Toco Hills’ which takes place May 7th 11-4pm in the Plaza. We will be offering a free 45 minute gentle yoga class at 1p.m. open to all ages, and children are welcome.

Bring your mom to class for Mother's Day on us! Stop by the desk and snag a guest pass or email us to get her registered: hello@theyogahiveatlanta.com and we will take care of the rest.

Shop our retail section from all our featured local artists for the perfect gift for mom; Ink&Alloy, Rooted Rebel, Oh So Fitting, The Chai Box, Gabriel’s Essence essential oils, and Atelier Marie Mac. This week only at a 25% discount, or consider purchasing the ultimate gift; yoga! The best part is that you can send a gift card digitally.

Sign-up for some fun and attend our Arm Balance Workshop with Rebecca. Lots of laughter and good cheer will be on offer as we balance and make fun shapes.

Tap into your creative side with our Pampered Play Felted Soap making Workshop May 22nd 2-4pm. In this workshop you become the creator! Please join Rooted Rebel founder Léona Ardoin and fiber artist Gabriel Nelson Sears of Gabriel of the Light as we indulge the senses with creative play.

As things heat up you can still be chill. Two different summer series will help you get your yoga on and find community over those dog days and a celebration on The Summer Solstice :

First up our summer Pop-ups on the Green kick off May 21st 8-9am and continue June 25th, July 23rd, and August 20th you can find more about them and how to register here. Take advantage of discount smoothies from Kale Me Crazy after practice to get your Saturday off to a great start.

Next up is our Yoga+Sound+Community series May 28th July 9th, and August 13th 7-8:30pm. Discover the healing energy of sound combined with the relaxation of yoga, Rebecca will lead you through restorative poses while GabrielNelson immerses you in sound. Stay afterwards for a cup of Kombucha.

Last, but not least, come celebrate the Summer Solstice with a sound bath facilitated by GabrielNelson Sears to bring in the light June 22nd 7:00-8:30pm We love hosting these events and sharing the longest day of the year with you is really special.

This month's featured class is Hive Yin. Did you know Yin is in? Yin yoga is open to everyone and is a wonderful starting point for those new to yoga or seasoned practitioners alike. It is a static practice that goes deep and leaves you feeling good. You can find our Hive Yin currently offered at 6pm Tuesday and Sunday at 11am. Check it out, you won’t be sorry!!

If you have not already heard we revisited all our pricing to help you stay with your yoga during these heavily inflated times!! Your wellness is important to us and we want to help you out instead of putting you out.

As always thank you for your continued support of our mission of making yoga fun and accessible to everyone. We look forward to seeing you because You Belong Here!!

Much love, Rebecca and The Hive Teaching Family
